Our neighborhood is teeming with children this evening. Teeming, I say. By the way, what's with this new thing where kids don't carry their own trick-or-treat bags? Kids come to the door holding out their hands, looking even more like the little beggars they are. When I ask where their bags are, they say, "Oh, my mom is carrying it." Seriously? Are kids so lazy these days? If parents are concerned about their kids' caloric intake, maybe they should make them haul around their bags all night.
But I digress. I hope you all have a safe and happy Halloween!
