Last year at Christmastime, I was perusing the Tasty Kitchen blog and came across a recipe for these cinnamon sugar almonds:
They sounded pretty easy, so I gave them a try. Numberless batches later, they just might become my Treat of the Season. Ready in about 10 minutes, they are virtually foolproof, and that's saying a lot coming from me. When I first started making them, I was sure I was going to burn the almonds to death, but it never happened. They are SO good. As in, I-can-easily-eat-the-entire-batch-in-one-sitting kind of good. Plus, you get a good workout because you can't stop stirring as they cook. I wish you could taste these. Or at least smell our house right now. Mmm, mmm, good.
(Unfortunately, I have not been able to find the recipe link again. I have spent an arduous few minutes searching for it. What I do for my readers! If you would like the recipe, let me know.)

Ooooh, I really want the recipe -- but don't look too hard for it if it's going to be a pain. :)
ReplyDeleteI want the recipe too! I just made cinnamon macadamia nuts and have been wanting to make some sweet almonds.
